Discovery of taped performances with orchestras, recorded at various concerts by CBC radio – 2006 Riki Turofsky in Concert, The Lost Tapes. Created as a CD by Riki, and her favorite because it showcases her voice at its very best in live performances.

Arbor Award for volunteerism. Queens Jubilee medal awarded twice for making a difference to Canadian life. Plaques in Princess Margaret Hospital, St. Michaels Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital for benevolence. Honors at Stratford and Canadian Opera Company as a major donor. Board of the Canada Council for the Arts – full term of 6 years , Board of Food Banks Canada- full term of 6 years. President of University Faculty of Music Alumni Association and leader of campaign for endowment to Opera School Production fund.
